Before You Start

• Stand on a towel during application to catch any overspray.

⚠️ Important:
Do not apply Ultra 1 until the day of the contest.

The Night Before the Contest

Apply Green Away

Spray Jan Tana Green Away over the body, especially under the arms.

• Helps keep you fresh since deodorant must not be used.
• Allow the product to dry completely before dressing or applying additional products.

Contest Day

Apply Ultra 1 – Stage Color

On the day of the competition:

• Spray Ultra 1 evenly over the entire body.
• Use the included sponge, tanning puff, or application glove to blend the color smoothly and evenly.
• For a darker result, apply additional coats as needed.

Ultra 1 delivers a rich, ultra dark mahogany finish that enhances muscle separation, definition, and overall stage presence.

⚠️ Do not rinse off the color until after the competition.

Important Notes

Avoid Other Tanning Products

Do not apply any other tanning products before or after using Jan Tana color products.

• Tanning beds are not necessary.
• Mixing products may affect the final result.

Do Not Apply Oils

Avoid oils, PAM cooking spray, or other products over your contest color.

• Products containing petroleum can cause the color to streak or run.

Do Not Use Deodorant

Do not apply deodorant before or after applying color.

• Deodorant can alter the skin’s pH balance and may cause discoloration under the arms.
