At The Winning Tan, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our return and refund policy below.
Returns
You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
- The product must be in the same condition as when it was received.
- Proof of purchase is required.
Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened tanning products, applicators, sponges, or other personal care products unless they are defective or incorrect.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If you receive:
- a damaged product,
- a defective product,
- or the wrong item,
please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@thewinningtan.com.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product and packaging
We will review your case and offer a replacement, refund, or another suitable solution where appropriate.
Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:
- the wrong item was sent,
- the item arrived damaged,
- or the product is confirmed to be defective.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Opened tanning products
- Opened cosmetic or personal care products
- Used applicators or sponges
- Gift cards
- Clearance or final sale items (unless required by law)
Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled before they have been processed and shipped.
If your order has already been dispatched, it must follow the standard return process outlined above.
