Before Tanning

• Stand on a towel during application to catch any overspray.

The Night Before the Contest

Apply Green Away

Spray Jan Tana Green Away over the body, especially under the arms.

• Helps keep you fresh since deodorant must not be used.
• Allow the product to dry completely before applying color.

Apply Hi Def Color

Once Green Away has dried:

• Spray one even coat of Jan Tana® Hi Def Color over the entire body as your base color.
• Blend smoothly using a tanning puff, sponge, or application glove.
• Let the color develop overnight.

Contest Day

Use as Stage Color

If you have a darker skin tone naturally, Hi Def Color can be used as a stage color. Reapply for a darker color up to 2 times.

Hi Def Color provides balanced depth and definition while maintaining a clean, professional competition look.

Important Notes

Avoid Other Tanning Products

Do not apply any other tanning products before or after using Jan Tana color products.

• Tanning beds are not necessary.
• Mixing products may affect the final result.

Do Not Apply Oils

Avoid oils, PAM cooking spray, or other products over your contest color.

• Products containing petroleum can cause the color to streak or run.

Do Not Use Deodorant

Do not apply deodorant before or after applying color.

• Deodorant can alter the skin’s pH balance and may cause discoloration under the arms.
